French 19th-20th century Louis XV bombe shaped petit-bureau de dame (secretary) banded with a gilt rim.

Six small drawers form the super structure of the desk. A small gilt decorated (non-working) clock is centered above the drawers. The pad feet and knees of the cabriole legs are decorated with a gilt leaf design and the front of the freeze drawer is similarly decorated with an extended carved leaf and bottom moulding.
